ABOUT MARVIN
------------
After over 10 years absence, Marvin BBS returns! How ghastly...

Featuring the ever lovable plastic pal that's fun to play with, we are
offering two lines for service, 24 hours a day, as follows:

28.8k 703 492 9301 bad modem
28.8k 703 492 9101 good modem

We are still in the process of developing Marvin, so not all the features
one would expect are currently available. However, our large and well
trained development staff and volunteer staff are constantly advancing
the state of BBS technology. If you're bored, have far too much time on
your hands, and have nothing better to do, why not join 'Team Marvin'?
All applications with a non-refundable deposit will be accepted
by the system operators. Just leave feedback for further information.

ACCESS
------
As we are generally an open access public system, anyone can request
a new guest user account. Upon validation, you will have fairly complete
access to this system. Just process yourself through the new user
account system, roll a few dice, and make a blood sacrifice at midnight,
and you too can join the privileged users of this system.

VALIDATION
----------
Validation is easy. Please make sure you leave your REAL name, address
and phone number. Handles/aliases are fine if you care to use them in
mail but we MUST have a name, address and phone number at which to
contact you. Also, please leave a message to root just saying hello, how
you like the system and what is the best time at which to contact you.
Users who do not give us this information will not be validated and if we
cannot contact you within 7 days of when we first try to reach you, your
account will be deleted from the database. We will attempt to do all
validations within 48 hrs of your first sign on but circumstances may
prevent this so pleae be patient.
