Usage: instill <item> <#> with <spell name/#>

The magic using classes (sorcerer, mystic and cleric) have the special
ability of people able to instill items with spells.

Wealthy players will find the instill command useful. It allows you to
instill an item with a spell. You must know the spell to be able to instill
it into an item. The default cost for instilling a spell is 200,000 gold
per point of casting cost of the spell (though this may be changed by your
sysop).

There are several item types that you can instill:

Trinkets, Baubles & Magic Devices
---------------------------------
Instilling a trinket or bauble with a spell basically turns it into a magic
device. Also, Magic devices may be re-instilled with a new spell. Once
instilled, the item can be "used" to cast the instilled spell. The number of
uses the item has are equal to the level of the instiller. The gold cost to
instill a trinket, bauble or magic device is 1/10th the cost of instilling
armor or weapons.

Shields & Armor
---------------
Armor and shields can be instilled with permanant state spells, similar to
rings. The spells you can instill into armor and shields are:

Vigor, Heal, Invisibility, Purification, Restoration, Protection,
Levitation, Invulnerability, Strength, Sturdiness, Magic Shield,
See Invisible, Haste, Stealth, Revelation and Mania.

For example, if you instill a set of armor with invisibility, you will become
invisible while you wear that armor.

Weapons
-------
Weapons may be instilled with these offensive spells:

Langour, Mesmerization, Lightning, Blast, Weakness, Dispel Magic, Fireball
and Curse.

When you attack a foe and hit, the spells instilled in the weapon will be
cast. The level of the spell is equal to the Psy level of the player who
instilled the spell into the item. Foes get their normal chance to dodge the
affects of the spell. For example, if you instill a weapon with blast,
whenever you hit a foe with the weapon you will perform the equivalent of
attempting to cast blast on the target. Note: Inflicting spell damage in this
manner does not count towards a Psy quest. The weapon is doing all the work,
not you.

Note: You can increase the power of an item that you instill by having other
mages enter into a trance while you perform the instill. Their psy will be
tapped to help make the item more powerful.
