Usage: get <item> <x> <from> <item> <x>
-or- get <x> from <x>

Use the 'get' command to pick up an item from the ground (or from a container)
and place it into your inventory. For example:

look
You are standing in a cave.
Exits: out.
You see a glowing Orb, a magic Longsword +2 +2, and a glowing Orb.

To pick up the first glowing orb you would enter 'get orb'. To pick up the
magic longsword you would enter 'get long'. To pick up the second glowing orb
you would enter 'get orb 2'. You can pick up anything as long as you don't
already have 20 items in your inventory, and it's not too heavy for you to
lift.

More briefly you can specify an item by a number. I.E. to pick up the first
item on the ground enter "get 1", to pick up the second item enter "get 2"
and so on.

If you have a container, use the "get" command to pull something out of
it. For example, if you have a bag with some things in it enter
"get <whatever> from bag".

Some monsters may try to stop you from picking items up from the ground. The
only way around this is to either slay the monster (or otherwise make it go
away) or to cast the invisibility spell on yourself. While invisible,
monsters can't prevent you from picking things up from the ground.

Picking up an item takes action time unless you have achieved the dexterity
speed bonus.
