The bounty command displays various information about the state of the realm.

First, it displays the monster that is currently under "bounty". Bounty
monsters are those monsters determined by "the powers that be" to be too
dangerous to live. When killing monsters under a bounty you are awarded
double experience as well as a cash reward (which is deposited into your bank
account). Bounty monsters also have a chance of carrying enhanced items -
items that are more powerful and valuable than normally carried by that
monster.

Bounties are always on evil monsters. They are randomly determined and
last for a finite period of time.

There are various random occurances that affect the state of monsters in
the realm which are also displayed with the bounty command. These events
are:

The wail of the banshee - monsters move slower.
Solar eclipse - monsters have fewer body points.
Golden halo - extra experience awarded for kills.

Finally, the bounty command shows if there are any ongoing "invasions" in the
realm. During an invasion, a random horde of monsters starts streaming into
the realm and quickly start spreading. The level of the invaders is based on
the levels of everyone playing at the moment. These monsters carry items
with enhanced power and value. To end the invasion, you and your allies must
simply hunt down and kill them all. The player who kills the last remaining
invader is awarded with as many talismans as he or she can carry.

Part of the invaders' mission is to kidnap the "royal heir" and hold him
captive. If you are brave and noble adventurer, you can set out and try to
rescue the heir. To do this, you must find the heir and lead him to a safe
haven (where he will be safe from the invaders until the invasion ends). Once
you locate the room where the heir is being held captive, you must slay all
the invaders therein. Once the heir is no longer being held captive, simply
exit the room and the heir will follow you. You must now lead the heir to
a safe haven. But beware, the heir is tired and wounded and moves slowly. He
may not be able to keep up with you if you try to move too fast. And
meanwhile, the invaders will attempt to pursue the heir to the ends of
the earth (even into town!) to capture him once again.

If you (and any companions) can successfully lead the heir to a safe haven
(where he can safely ride out the invasion), you will be rewarded with
a LOT of experience (default: 1,000,000 points). The experience is
divided amongst all of your quests (except for a thief bonus quest) and
amongst all of the players who greet the heir upon his arrival to safe
haven.
