This zip file contains the source code and executables for QBBS /
TOPquark BBS in no particular order. As far as John and I are
concerned, you can do what ever you want with it.

TOPquark is provided for entertianment only. If you are crazy
enough to use it for something, that is great! Just don't blame
me if your heart / lung machine quits working or whatever. Not for
use on the International Space Station or under the polar ice cap.

Run Tconfig to configure the BBS. I have set it up so it should
work if you uncompress it to your drive to the directory C:\top.
If you put it somewhere else, you will have to reconfigure it or
it will crash on you. Drag, huh?

You need a modem. You need to have a modem on the correct com port.
If you don't, the program may hang or do other alarming things.
No win-modems please! (duh)

Oh ya, I went and looked at the source code, and I think if you run it
with the option Top -m it will turn the modem stuff off. Maybe it
was Top /m . I don't remember. You'll figure it out, I'm sure. This
would be a good thing to do if you don't have a modem.

If you have any problems, feel free to email me. I might answer them,
if I can still remember what I did about 10 years ago, or what John
did 15 years ago. The address is the_doctor@space.com

Enjoy!
