                   EBBS Message Area Tips:

 1) FIRST CALL: First time callers should choose READ FORWARD and
read only the last 10 or so messages in message areas of
interest. This will set your NEW MESSAGES pointer for your next
    call.

 2) ENTER: While reading messages, hitting ENTER will abort the
reading of the current message and skip to following message.

 3) SPACE: While reading messages, hitting the SPACE BAR will abort
the reading and drop to the READ COMMAND prompt.

 4) AUTO-PAUSE: If auto-pause is enabled, EBBS will pause every
screenful or so. Be sure to set your SCREEN LINES as desired for
auto pause to work effectively. ENTER or SPACE will resume.

 5) MANUAL PAUSE: Hitting s, S, * or Ctrl-S will pause all text
    outputs. Any key will resume.

 6) IN GENERAL: I suggest callers simply check into prefferred
message areas and post, reply & read new messages regularly.

 7) ZIP new messages and DL: This feature allows users to
download their new messages in a ZIP file. Users can then
review them at their leisure, compose offline replies, then
call back and ASCII upload those replies.
