;
Save

Save the message (or file description). This option must be used in order
to store the message.

Syntax: S[ave] [;] [nn], where nn = section number.

if you had entered S at the Editor Function prompt. Your message will be
stored automatically if it is a reply or you will be prompted for a message
section if it is an original message.

Appending an "N" as in "/poN" or "/POSTn" tells stores the message in a
manner which prevents it from being echoemailed to other systems.

See also S, SC and SN.
;
EXIT

Typing /EXIT (or /EX or /EXI) as the only entry on a new line will pop you
to the Editor Function prompt as though you had hit enter twice.

multinode system. This command may be disabled by the SysOp and might not
always be available.

Syntax: SE[nd] [;] node# ; text

The first semicolon is optional, the second is required. Also see WHO.
'

multinode system. The status of this command is permanently stored in your
user record.

Also see SENDON.
'
SENDON

SENDON restores your ability to receive SENDs from callers on other nodes
on a multinode system. The status of this command is permanently stored in
your user record.

Also see SENDOFF.
'
WHO

WHO or UST (UserSTatus) is a multinode system command which will display
who is logged on the system's other nodes.

If the phrase "is BUSY" is in a line of this status report, then that
caller cannot be SEnt to.

See also SEND, SENDON, and SENDOFF.
'
QUOTE

Command = QU

The QUOTE or QU command allows you to specify which lines of a parent
message you wish to quote in a reply. The parent message will be reshown
with line numbers (as if an RP had been issued) and you will then be
prompted to supply the lines to quote. Lines may be specified as follows:

               nn : Quote line #nn.
-nn : Quote FROM line #1 TO line #nn.
nn- : Quote FROM line #nn to the end of the message.
               nn-mm : Quote FROM line #nn TO line #mm.

You may then C)ontinue with the rest of your editing session.

                     Syntax: QU[ote] [; begline - endline]

If you stack the lines to be quoted, Auntie will not redisplay the parent
message. This is handy if you already know which lines you want to quote.
Note that the semicolon in stacked QUote commands is optional.
'
' Format added 511, 12-19-90.
' Modified for selectable lines, 5.12, 7-14-91.
'
Format

The Format command allows you to reformat all or part of your message to
any line length between 35 and 80 characters. This can be a handy feature
if you have added a word or phrase in a line already written thereby making
it longer then your default right margin setting.

You will be prompted to supply the lines to reformat. Lines may be
specified as follows:

               nn : Format line #nn.
-nn : Format FROM line #1 TO line #nn.
nn- : Format FROM line #nn to the end of the message.
               nn-mm : Format FROM line #nn TO line #mm.

Example: f ; 78 ; 12-22

Warning: Don't reformat messages which have QUoted ">" text in them.
Doing so is harmless but will rearrange the previously added quotes.

Syntax: F [[;] nn [;beglin - endlin] where nn is the new line length,
35-80 characters and beglin and endlin are the beginning and ending lines
to be formatted. The entire message will be reformatted if you just hit
enter.
'
Save w/ Copy

Command = SC

If you wish to leave one or more public copies of a message to other

The addressees of the copied messages must be currently logged members of
the board. Sending a copy to an addressee such as "All C Gurus" is not

' UNDO Added 5.12, 8-17-91.
'
UNDO

UNDO a previous change.

you changed it.

This command is ignored if the last command was anything other than "E".

'

Hitting your Escape key while at any prompt (except inside the message
